Pertemps are currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant with a passion for English to support pupils in a outstanding secondary academy in Hackney.

The large school in the heart of Hackney is known for its academic excellence and thriving community. They are part of a Trust that overseas 6 secondary academies and 3 primary schools across London. They offer training and development to all staff to ensure excellent career development. As a teacher training school many of the Graduate Teaching Assistants have gone on to do exactly this
The school has excellent transport links, 5 mins from the train station and bus routes on the high street directly outside.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you would be joining a large well established English department with outstanding resources.
They have a very well managed Faculty of Learning that offer Teaching Assistants with skills in specialised areas to pupils that are struggling in those subject areas.
As a English Graduate Teaching Assistant you would be required to support student across the secondary age curriculum.You will be required to work with the pupils to build a trusting relationship with the aim to raise attainment and improve behaviour.
The role for a Graduate Teaching Assistant offers a daily rate of £95.00 per day depending on experience.
The role is to start asap until the end of the academic year with the view to go permanent for September 2024.
They are a teacher training school so will also consider you for this if they have the availability.Ideally a Graduate with core subject in English
