    Role: Quality Assurance Operative (Permanent Postion)

    Location: Minworth B76, (with occasional travel to other site locations)

    Salary: £30,000 per annum

    Hours: 08:00-17:30 Monday-Friday with 1hr lunch (37.5hrs per week)

    Siamo Recruitment are currently working with a leading logistics company. Due to expanding growth they are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Operative to join their team. You will be reporting directly to the Compliance Manager.

    Purpose -

    To carry out product quality checking and to communicate results to stakeholders. To help create and manage corrective action and continuous improvement plans. To assist in the creation, development and management of the QA checking system and to drive change where necessary. To represent the company as a quality champion to our suppliers and customers. To travel to suppliers and other site locations to carry out these duties where necessary.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • To carry out designated quality checks accurately and on time
    • To communicate quality performance to both internal and external stakeholders
    • To help develop quality checking plans and processes
    • To help create and manage corrective action and continuous improvement plans
    • To develop and manage quality KPI reporting
    • To drive quality improvements cross the product portfolio
    • Friendly can-do attitude, personable and enjoy working within a team environment, but also self-motivated and able to work alone
    • Always holding our colleagues in highest respect but not afraid to challenge the status quo
    • To seek solutions to provide a better overall outcomes for the business

    Education & Experience Required

    Essential:

    • Educated to at least A-level (or equivalent) standard
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office applications
    • Strong numeracy skills
    • Full driving license and access to own transport

    Desirable:

    • Previous experience in a Quality Control role
