As a Senior Mental Health Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will
As a Senior Nurse in our integrated mental health team you will be responsible for assessment and
ongoing management of our patients' mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with the
multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients, assessing
their physical, social and psychological needs to develop a holistic health care plan.

Registered nurse – Mental Health
Current professional qualification (NMC)
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Experience of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
Understanding of mental health policy including clinical governance and the quality and
outcomes framework, along with national standards such as NICE
