About our client

We are working with a leading European and North American focused infrastructure fund (with over $5 billion of AUM) that is expanding its team in London.

They are looking for an Associate to play a key role in driving the growth of the funds' investment programmein renewable energy and energy transition.

What the job involves:

Financial analysis and modelling
Investment evaluation
Due diligence work and advisor coordination
Investment approvals
Management of and reporting for investment funds
Postacquisition investment monitoring
M&A process coordination

Who we are looking for:

Excellent academic record from a leading university
Degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, engineering, maths, sciences or other quantitative field preferred
Experience in a renewables or infrastructure fund, developer, IPP, investment banking or other renewable energy and energy transition focused roles
Knowledge within and passion for the renewable energy and energy transition sectors
Strong numerical, interpersonal / communications skills, attention to detail
Proven initiative, judgement and strong work ethic
Demonstrated ability to build and run financial models and experience in M&A processes
Fluency in European languages well regard
