Pay rate:
£195 to £320 per day (PAYE) + Holiday pay

Our client is leading audio streaming technology business. They are looking for a business analyst to join their team.


As a Business Analyst within the FP&A function, you will work closely with the Senior FP&A Manager within this dynamic and growing online business, assisting to build the 2024 business operating plan.

This will primarily involve owning the budget model, with inputs from the business to pull together key P&L and business metrics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior FP&A Manager with budgeting, forecasting and longterm planning and modelling for UK& CA marketplaces
  • This person will be responsible for populating the budget excel model, and preparing different scenarios based on sensitivity analysis within the model. It will involve working with business teams in the UK and CA, as well as collaboration with International Finance colleagues to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Monitoring of financial and nonfinancial performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Execution of ad hoc finance initiatives as & when required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with strong academic record
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
  • Proven ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with peers, senior leaders, and wider stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English
  • Proven time management, problemsolving and critical thinking ability, with structured and systematic way of working
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to pick up new skills and knowledge quickly
  • Experience in a fastpaced, highintensity and rapidly evolving environment
  • Experience in developing budgets and forecasts and/or other financial planning responsibilities
  • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cognos TM1 a plus
