Consilium Recruit are supporting a global vehicle manufacturer's UK retail and service operations.As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping vehicles in top condition, ensuring the safety and reliability of all work conducted in the workshops.

The Role
The successful candidate for the position of HGV Technician will be flexible to support a rotating shift pattern of morning and afternoon shifts (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) hrs) with some flexibility required to work additional hours during busy periods.
The business has a number of Service Depots across the Greater London area and as such you will be attached the closest depot to home for ease of commuting.
You will conduct routine maintenance and inspections of all HGVs and diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
The HGV Technician will complete service records and reports accurately and on time and will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
The HGV Technician will provide excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, working both independently and as part of a team.

The Person
The successful candidate for the position of HGV Technician will possess a proven background in repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles in a workshop environment.
Ideally you will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
It is essential that you hold a full UK driving license, with HGV level preferred.
You will have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, be able to work in a safe and methodical manner and be passionate about providing great service to vehicles in either a repair or planned maintenance capacity.
