    Current Salary Range £30,000 - £46,525 within the Main Pay Range - Upper Pay Range

    This role would be suitable for early career teachers or experienced teachers.

    Permanent

    Start Date: September 2024

    The job role consists of:

    • Having responsibility for teaching in assigned curriculum areas
    • Taking responsibility and be accountable for pupil attainment and achievement, by tracking pupils progress and supporting individual pupils' learning needs
    • Ensuring that high standards of discipline and respect are evident throughout the Faculty, supporting colleagues in line with school policies and practice
    • Supporting the Head of Year to secure a high quality learning experience in tutor time
    • Setting high expectations for all pupils through aspirational target setting

    We are really proud of the outcomes achieved by our English Department. Last year our results were:

    • English Language9-4: 79%9-5: 61%
    • English Literature 9-4: 79% 9-5: 60%
