Job Title: Urology SpR Locum

Location: East of England

This reputable Hospital is looking to secure a Senior trust Doctor (ST3+) in Urology for a period of 3 months, with the view to extend.

The Urology department has 8 consultants, supported by 2 specialist registrars and 1 trust grade registrar.

There are 2 dedicated surgical wards, comprising 50 inpatient beds; and surgery also use a 22 bedded short stay ward. The hospital has 8 inpatient theatres; 4 day surgery theatres, 2 minor operations suites.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a high standard of clinical care to patients
• Take responsibility for the management of patients within the surgical ward
• Attend ward rounds, clinics, and meetings as required
• Participate in the on-call rota as necessary
• Undertake administrative and clinical duties as required
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and guidelines
• Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• GMC registration
• Minimum of 6 months experience
• Excellent clinical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and delegate as necessary
