Job Title:
Baker Part Time

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a diverse range of Artisan Donuts to established recipes and standards.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency in taste and texture.
Operate and maintain baking equipment,
Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection, adjusting temperature, humidity, and baking time as needed.
Prepare fillings, icings, and glazes to enhance the flavour and appearance of baked goods.
Decorate using various techniques, such as piping, fondant, and chocolate work.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with the other staff members to develop new recipes and menu items.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking baking supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries, special orders, and product recommendations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Baker in a bakery or similar environment.
Indepth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Strong understanding of Donut decorating techniques.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce highquality Donuts.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet production schedules.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Knowledge of food safety and Food Standard regulations.
Creativity and a passion for experimenting with new flavours and designs.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment, standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects when necessary.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required in the bakery industry.

Education and Certification:

Formal culinary or baking education from a recognised institution is preferred.
Optional certifications from professional culinary organisations are a plus.
