- To work as part of the locality team to support children, young people and families who are vulnerable or at risk. Postholders should ensure that they are compliant with safeguarding mandatory training and that they are aware of local safeguarding policies and procedures and how to access these.
- To support other localities as required, including Just One Number, to ensure that all relevant clinical skills are developed, and to maintain effective working relationships and continuity of services.
- To work with, promote and support families to access the Norfolk Family Hub offer
- To develop skills to promote the use of digital resources on Just One Norfolk during all contacts with service users to enhance self-care skills for children, young people, and their families.

- Within this role you will need to travel as an independent practitioner on a daily basis, across Norfolk which involves both rural and urban travel. The nature of our work does result in travel arrangements changing at short notice. Due to the large geography our service covers and the limitations of sufficient public transport to undertake this role you must hold a full and current driving licence and have access to your own transport. This is subject to the provisions of the Equality Act 2010, and therefore if the postholder requires a reasonable adjustment due to a disability then this will be considered.

Main duties of the job
Across Norfolk Healthy Child Programme we are developing an exciting opportunity for NMC registered practitioners to work with children and families from the antenatal period up to 19 years of age.
If you have a current Band 5 NMC registration, you are excited by innovation, and are passionate about the public health agenda and improving health outcomes for children, young people and families, then this may be the career choice for you.
You will work in an integrated 0-19 team within our Norfolk and Waveney Children and Young People's Health Services.
You will be supported to develop in the role, gaining the skills and knowledge you require to support the skill mix team to deliver our service confidently and competently. You will have the opportunity to work both virtually and in person, gaining experience of our universal offer and providing targeted support within the community.
Please note that this role requires you to be able to travel to visit various bases, other services, and families at home.
