    Job Description

    Position Purpose

    This position will develop, execute, and report out test and validation activities to ensure that the current and new IoT Solution meets customer and internal needs. You will share your knowledge on IoT Solution and provide technical support to other Brambles teams.

    This position will primarily carry out onsite and field activities in the UK and EU regions.

    Measures

  • Complete hardware testing, validation and reporting activities per internal and customer timelines.
  • Ensuring new products and features meet requirements through testing.
  • Develop new tests based on customer and internal requirements.
  • Execution of test per planned timeline
  • Providing technical support to other teams when needed.
  • Major/Key Accountabilities

    Execute day to day activities, reporting, and communications. Be a key point of contact for other Brambles teams and manage resources in completing test activities to meet deadlines.

    Support the development and improvement of hardware products and features:

  • Become knowledgeable of IoT Solution's hardware capabilities and features.
  • Execute the hardware testing and validation of devices. This would include both field and on-site testing.
  • Support device failure troubleshooting and resolution, and when needed plan and execute tests to identify failure modes/variables.
  • Support IoT Solution's hardware development by working with Edge Team and providing expertise during the design stages.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders on resource and material planning necessary to execute hardware testing and validation.
  • Challenges/Problem Solving

  • Working remotely with customers and team members in international locations.
  • Co-ordinating vendors/suppliers and other stakeholders on materials and resource planning required to execute test activities.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the industry.
  • Qualifications

  • Have flexible work schedule to support activities in other countries/time zones.
  • Strong Excel skills using features like pivot tables and other advanced functions.
  • Must be willing to travel to support Brambles Digital activities up to 40% travel. Must be able to travel Internationally if needed. Majority of travel will be in the EU region.
  • Proven history of collaborating with stakeholders both remotely and in person.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Essential Qualifications

  • Experience developing test plans, executing tests, and providing analysis and reports on test results.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting out to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good experience in durability/reliability testing and validation.
  • Be self-driven, hands on, and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Be analytical and methodical.
  • Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in new product/solution/equipment development and launches as user or provider.
  • Customer facing experience.

    2+ years' experience developing, executing, and reporting test and validation activities.

    1+ year with focus on product durability and reliability activities

    Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven technical skills related to IoT hardware
  • Proven knowledge and experience in hardware testing and validation.
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with customer facing experience
