- Produce and maintain CAD drawings and documentation that ensure projects are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Transfer of legacy CAD data to SolidWorks (3D) and creation of relevant 2D drawings and technical specifications
- Design of jigs and fixtures to aid production assembly.
- Design of injection moulded components
- Product design and development using 3D CAD and 3D prototyping facility.
- Perform product validation testing and produce concise and conclusive test reports.
- Work with the engineering, quality and production teams and provide support on a range of projects when required.
- Possess a passion to succeed and make a difference to the customer.
- Initiative and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and Energetic with a positive "Can Do" attitude.
- An excellent communicator, able to work cross functionally.
- Organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Must have a hard-working attitude with an open mind to learning new skills, methods, and techniques.
- Flexible and professional approach to work
- Time served in industry is critical 5 years+ min.
- ONC/HNC/Degree
- Fluent use of SolidWorks
- Computer Literate with the ability to work unaided.
- Understand the principles of design for manufacture and assembly processes.
- Experience of Plastic Injection Mouldings
- Experience in the Pharma industry would be nice but not critical.
- The ideal candidate will be innovative and hardworking, have an eye for detail and the desire to become an expert in this field.
