_Role Overview:
_We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

As an LSA, you will play a pivotal role in providing vital support to our SEMH boys, both academically and emotionally.

This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to positively impact the lives of these students within a supportive and collaborative educational setting.


_Key Responsibilities:
_

  • Offer onetoone or small group support to students with SEMH needs, aiding in their academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
  • Assist in implementing individualized learning plans and strategies tailored to meet the students' diverse needs.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere within the school environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support personnel to create and maintain a conducive learning environment for students.
  • Aid in the preparation of educational materials and contribute to creating an engaging learning environment.

_Requirements:
_

  • Prior experience working with children or young individuals, especially those with SEMH needs, is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build meaningful connections with students.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

_Qualifications:
_

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Additional qualifications in support assistance, education, or child development are advantageous but not obligatory.
  • Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment. _
  • Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (which Pink Tile can assist with). _
