Workshop Supervisor
Our client, based in Gosfield (CO9), is looking for a Workshop Supervisor on a potentially temporary to permanent opportunity.

The role:
Supervise the completion of works orders in the factory and yard area, ensuring works are completed on time and to the standard
Workshop Supervisor - Responsibilities

  • Developing and clearly communicating the manufacturing plan to the team
  • Oversee and ensure procedures, including the completion of associated documentation, are adhered to for all activities in the workshop
- manage and be hands on with completion of works

  • Overseeing the production process; ensuring that the production/assembly is cost effective
- making sure that products are produced on time

  • Motivating a team of workers, reviewing performance, and identifying training needs

Experience Required:

  • Essential
- worked in a similar role
- comes from a trade background
- supervision of an assembly workshop

  • IT Literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desirable
  • Health and Safety IOSH
  • SMSTS and CSCS
  • Overhead Crane
  • IPAF
  • Slinger / Signaller
  • CIOB Site Management
Hours are 07:30 to 16:00 with 30 minute unpaid break
Pay rate up to £17.00 ph depending on experience.
