Fourblue have partnered alongside an exciting ICP (independent connection provider), who specialise in electrical power infrastructure, substation construction, underground distribution systems ranging from LV - 33kV.

Due to increase demand and winning a 5-year framework contract with SSE, our client is looking to grow the team and bring on a Senior Authorised Person to support on the new framework agreement.

~ As a HV Senior Authorised Person, the role will involve travelling across the SSE patch.

Your Responsibilities as a

Senior Authorised Person:
Attend site to carry out HV switching operations in accordance with electrical distribution safety rules
Carrying out testing and commission of substations with clear understanding
Working alongside the other SAP's to co-ordinator the work carried out to ensure a smooth process
Identifying and spiking of cable circuits including fault location
Assist project and commissioning engineers with HV testing when required
Manage interfaces between the company and client / DNO SAP's

Previous experience working as a Senior Authorised Person in an electrical field (ideally ICP, IDNO, or DNO experience)
Have a good technical knowledge of HV switchgear, both current and obsolete equipment
UK driving licence
