£140 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students
Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
Utilise a variety of teaching methods to ensure all students' learning styles are accommodated
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science department

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching Computer Science preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of Computer Science principles and programming languages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and engage students in learning
Organisational skills and ability to manage a classroom effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education
Experience in teaching at the secondary school level

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar and timetable. Full-time hours are expected, with additional responsibilities such as staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
