Adecco Are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join one of our clients on a temporary basis, to support one of our clients in the Oldham area.

This role is ideally working in the office (in Oldham) 2 days a week and 3 from home.

We will consider day rates up to £275 a day, dependant on experience.

The Role:

To assist the Payroll Manager to ensure the effective, efficient and customer focused management and delivery of accurate payroll, expenses, benefits and pensions activities to agreed service standards and against approved processes.


Duties:


  • Ensure the timely and accurate inputting of payroll data and completion of payroll runs to ensure employees are being paid correctly and on time each month.
  • Support the development of the payroll team.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Payroll Manager as necessary.
  • Ensure that all information relating to payroll that is passed into the department is processed accurately and at the correct time and deadlines are met.
  • Deliver a high standard of service for our employees, ensuring that payroll queries are managed through to resolution within agreed service standards.
  • Support the Payroll Manager to ensure that the required data, financial contributions and information is provided to external third parties such as HRMC and pension providers, meeting the required deadlines.
  • Assist in the development of plans and timetables that support continuous improvement for payroll processes
  • Assist in the annual P11d and P60 processing.
  • Provide key stakeholders with support and advice in relation to pay and benefits matters as requested.
  • Contribute to a range of payroll projects and activities as requested by the Payroll Manager.

Requirements:


  • CIPP Qualified or actively studying towards.
  • Experience of processing payroll and administering pensions and benefits.
  • Knowledge of payroll and pension regulations and legislation, including RTI and Auto Enrolment requirements.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Good multitasking and organisational skills.
