Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized support plans for students with SEN, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
  • Provide targeted oneonone or small group support to students during lessons, helping to reinforce learning objectives and facilitate academic progress.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
  • Assist students in developing essential social and emotional skills, promoting selfconfidence, resilience, and independence.
  • Utilize your understanding of psychology to analyse student behaviour, identify underlying needs, and implement effective support strategies tailored to individual requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field is essential.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience in managing challenging situations effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic educational environment.
