Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized support plans for students with SEN, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
Provide targeted oneonone or small group support to students during lessons, helping to reinforce learning objectives and facilitate academic progress.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Assist students in developing essential social and emotional skills, promoting selfconfidence, resilience, and independence.
Utilize your understanding of psychology to analyse student behaviour, identify underlying needs, and implement effective support strategies tailored to individual requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field is essential.
Genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Empathy, patience, and resilience in managing challenging situations effectively.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic educational environment.
