- Interpret genetic test results andexplain their implications to patients and familymembers.
- Develop and provide patientspecificeducation regarding genetic conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcareproviders to develop treatment plans and referrals.
- Provide individualized counseling and support to patientsand family members on genetic conditions and healthrelatedissues.
- Maintain accurate records of patientassessments testing andtreatments.
- Masters degreein Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
- Licensure or certification as a Genetic Counselor in thestate of practice.
- 2 years of experience as aGenetic Counselor.
- Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills.
- Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledgeof genetics and genetic counseling modalities.
- Able to work collaboratively andindependently.
