    Medacs Healthcare is proud to be playing an integral part in delivering a new Functional Assessment Services contract on behalf of the UK Department for Work and Pensions. The contract will involve the delivery of more than 3.5 million health and disability assessments nationally over a period of 5 years.

    Following several years of successfully supporting the previous Health Assessment Advisory Service, Medacs is now expanding service in our existing North England focus region supporting the regional prime provider of the new service.

    Medacs Healthcare has a very exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Delivery Manager who will be accountable for overseeing the clinical delivery of Health Assessment Services PIP contract, ensuring compliance, consistency, and quality in line with DWP guidelines to enhance customer experience. The role involves developing and maintaining the necessary skills within the team to optimise service delivery, addressing haps, managing risks, implementing innovative solutions, and sharing best practices to meet SLA priorities.

    You will be working in a hybrid flexible manner incorporating working from any of our Yorkshire based offices and from home, with travel where the needs of the business dictate for site visits and training.

    Here's some of the key responsibilities:

    • Supervising the Clinical Support Managers (CSM) and Healthcare Practitioners (HPs) to guarantee Medacs provides a high-quality service that meets contractual SLAs
    • Collaborate with the management team to ensure adherence to KPI requirements in line with contractual requirements
    • Offer clear direction during change initiatives, actively guiding the team through transition
    • Provide key stakeholders with relevant information around Medacs performance, highlighting any risks and escalating with innovative solutions
    • Contribute towards the relationship between the client and Health Assessment Services, ensuring that targets are met accordingly
    • Empowering CSMs to manage their team performance, supporting CSMs to create specific improvement plans to maximise consistency, quality and enhance performance based on MI and clinical risk scores
    • To lead and support annual appraisals for all clinical delivery teams
    • To ensure that all CSMs are up to date with CPD and have a detailed understanding of any changes relating to PIPAG & DWP guidance to enable effective cascade within the HP community and provide governance to ensure this is taking place effectively
    • Manage overall performance of CSM team specifically focusing on areas around the delivery of clinical support and assessments
    • Produce daily /weekly and monthly reports that offer business insight and implement solutions to any risk
    • To manage and ensure complaints are responded to within agreed time frames
    • Ensure that clinical governance and standards required by all appropriate professional regulatory bodies are maintained
    • Maintain personal approval by following the contractual requirements, i.e., undertake the required number of assessments
    • Ensure that the Annual Performance Appraisals (APA) process is fully embedded for the team including development plans and career planning
    • Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure service delivery requirements are met, i.e., forecasting/absence levels/assessment volumes

    ABOUT YOU:

    Ideally you will be an experienced Clinical Delivery Manager/ PIP practitioner with a minimum of 1 year post-approval experience within clinical quality. You will have experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team of Clinical Practioners with the ability to manipulate data from source and present as well as evidenced experience in managing demanding situations with both internal and external stake holders.
