We are seeking a competent and organised Engineering Stores Manager, you will oversee a small team and be responsible for the efficient management of goods in, goods out, and overall stores operations.

Your role will involve ensuring accurate stock control, maintaining organised inventory systems, coordinating deliveries, and managing a smooth workflow within the stores department.

Your role will involve ensuring accurate stock control, maintaining organised inventory systems, coordinating deliveries, and managing a smooth workflow within the stores department.

Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy of quantities and quality checks. Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Provide regular reports and updates on stores activities, including stock levels, stock movements, and performance indicators, to management.
Previous experience in stores management within an engineering environment is preffered
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a small team of staff.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of engineering machinery parts, components, and associated inventory management practices.
FLT Licence desirable.
