    Description

    Kingdom Services Group are a key partner to Morrisons Supermarkets , and we have a great opportunity for a Meet & Greet Customer Service Operative to join our team.

    We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Greeter to join our team.

    A Greeter's responsibilities include ensuring guests are greeted when they enter the store and providing directions or information to customers to ensure they find the products they are looking for.

    Where : Morrisons store at Fort William, PH33 area.

    When: We're looking to get the right person in to the team with an immediate start.

    Hours: On average 60 hours per week. 5 On 3 Off rolling rota. Various 12 hour shifts, Monday to Saturday 10:00am - 22:00pm & Sunday's 08:00am - 20:00pm.

    Salary : £ 14.00 per hour

    This role requires a criminal background check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

    If you already have a DBS certificate, and are registered with the DBS Update Service, please inform our Onboarding Team of this.

    If you are the successful candidate, we will ask for your permission to access the DBS Update Service and we may also need to view your disclosure certificate.

    About the role:

    • A Greeter is the first face people see as they walk through any establishment. They welcome all customers with a smile and answer any questions they have as they enter the store.
    • A Greeter has many responsibilities, but they are typically responsible for greeting guests as they arrive at the store, providing directions for guests as needed and helping keep their work area clean and organized for a good shopping experience.
    • A good Greeter must be friendly, personable and able to interact with a wide variety of people. In addition, they must be physically fit as they will spend most of their time standing throughout their shifts.
    • A Greeter typically works alone throughout their shift, and they are supervised by a Store Manager who assigns their workstation and oversees the quality of service provided to customers throughout the shift.
    • Provide information on our current sales and promotions.
    • Help keep track of how many guests are seen throughout the day.
    • Provide advice or direct guests to the appropriate sales associate.
    • Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

    There are a variety of shift patterns available. We're early birds (7am starts are not uncommon) and night owls (our shops are open late), flexibility is really important to us as you will need to be able to cover the required shifts.

    Although retail experience is desirable, it's not essential as we'll make sure you know everything you need to do a great job.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Proven work experience as a Greeter or similar role
    • Customer service experience a plus
    • An understanding of our product(s) and the product(s) of our main competitors
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Basic computer knowledge
