Westwood Recruitment are on the lookout for an Inspector to join our client based in Bredbury on a permanent basis. Working hours for this is nights (9PM-7AM) so you need to be comfortable working those hours, you will get 33% shift premium for working these shifts

You will report to the Technical Manager where you will manually inspect machined components to ensure customer requirements are adhered to and ensuring the high standard of product is maintained.

Role Responsibilities

• To help ensure quality standards are to BS EN ISO 9001 standards at all times
• Provide hands on support to all areas of manufacturing whilst acting as a liaison between departments
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Use manual inspection equipment to verify dimensions of machined components against customer and internal department requirements
• To conduct component inspections when required, for first off operation, patrol inspection and final inspection to identify the meets to the necessary standard
• Produce NCR's (non-conformance reports) as required
• Produce inspection reports during and after final machining

Role Requirements

• Previous experience of Manual Inspection required
  
• CMM experience preferable
• CSWIP Visual Inspection preferable
