Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Financial Controller based in West Lothian paying up to £60,000.

The OpportunityThe company is seeking a Financial Controller that is capable of leading it's finance function to ensure it can accelerate its thirst for growth. With the forecasted growth and expansion, it creates a clear pathway for the successful individual to carve outa Finance Director role and become part of the Board.

The key components of the role include:

Working closely with the leadership team to aid decisions, achieve strategic objectives & influence the direction of the business.
Hiring, training, development and managing of a lean & talented finance team
Ensuring a robust financial control environment that is fit for purpose to allow for accelerated scaling, growth & expansion
Ownership of:

- o Annual audit
- o Statutory accounting
- o Production and presentation on monthly management accounts & Board packs
- o Budgeting and forecasting
- o Cashflow analysis & management
- o Variance analysis
- o KPI setting & reporting
- o Balance sheet integrity
- o Taxation & VAT
- o Month-end & transaction functions

AP, AR, Credit Control

A qualified Accountant would be the preference, but they are also open to qualified by experience.

On OfferThe role of Financial Controller is based in West Lothian and will offer:

Up to £60,000 base salary
