    Everybody at the restaurant works a 4-day week from Wednesday to Saturday. The restaurant is closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, which allows the team plenty of time to enjoy and explore the wonderful city of Edinburgh.

    The restaurant is privately owned by Martin Wishart and the kitchen operates under a small professional and friendly team of 6 chefs. The atmosphere at work is one of mature professionalism where focused individuals can grow and develop their career while working with the finest seasonal ingredients.

    This role will suit a strong Pastry Chef de Partie seeking to progress their career. The right candidate will be motivated, focused, flexible, and organised, with a passion for excellence. And be willing to follow guidance to ensure high standards are met consistently, while supporting the Head chef & sous chef and the team across the kitchen. As pastry chef you will be working in a dedicated pastry kitchen where you can develop your own desserts to the required standard expected at a Michelin star level. It is our philosophy and daily aim to create excellence for our guests. The Pastry sections menus change every two weeks.

    This position requires a person who can run a section to a highly meticulous and consistent level while ensuring the smooth-running of each service.

    Salary - Up to £34 000 per year plus gratuities
