    I am delighted to be working with one of the world's preeminent law firms and assisting them in the recruitment of a Pricing and Commercial Manager.

    The remit of the role is split between influencing results at a client level to drive profitability and driving self-started projects to leverage broader commercial opportunities.


    This role will serve as a business partner and trusted advisor to relationship partners and senior decision-makers, with the aim of enhancing commercial outcomes throughout the firm.

    This involves implementing pricing best practices within a global panel portfolio, as well as collaborating with stakeholders across regional offices to influence and bolster results.

    Additionally, you will add value by analysing internal and external financial factors to pinpoint actionable insights that can drive improved commercial returns through enhanced processes, methodologies, or strategic initiatives.

    Leading pivotal cross-department projects and acting as the liaison between Finance and the Business are also key responsibilities.


    As the Commercial Pricing Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing a strategic client portfolio from a commercial perspective, offering guidance to Partners on diverse value-add options beyond rates, and taking the lead on the financial aspects of client pitches.

    Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll utilize insights from past engagements and external commercial expertise to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.

    You'll actively contribute to refining pricing best practices by developing and maintaining pricing templates and models to ensure uniformity across the network.

    Your responsibilities will also involve identifying actionable commercial insights to enhance returns and spearheading projects to maximize associated benefits, all while adopting a comprehensive approach that considers firm-wide impacts and interdependencies.

    Furthermore, you'll pinpoint areas for system and operational enhancements within the team, overseeing their implementation and evaluation. Finally, you'll ensure that broader business considerations are incorporated into departmental outputs.


    Applicants must be organised and detail orientated individual with a high level of computer literacy and MS Excel with demonstrable experience of manipulating large data sets.

    You must also have excellent soft skills including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

    There will be a need to work with colleagues across business services and also with Senior Partners to obtain approval and 'buy in'.

    The role requires an analytical and strategic approach and a high degree of commercial acumen.
