- Attending HAZOP, SIL and design reviews and conducting FAT and SAT for instrumentation equipment
- Liaising with the main instrument vendor both commercially and technically
- Managing deliverables including reviewing and commenting on all aspects of the EPC Contractor s design deliverables, preparing instrument datasheets, schedules and calcs
- Undertaking commissioning activities and participating in plant modification projects
- Managing all aspects of equipment fault finding, maintenance, inspection and configurations/minor changes to PCS or PLC programs
- Extensive experience in petrochemical or process industry with EPC project background including knowledge of hazardous area and functional safety, instrumentation equipment national and international standards
- Knowledge of PCS and instrumentation communication protocols such as HART, wireless HART, Modbus, Profibus and OPC
- Detailed experience of all aspects of process plant use
- Sound understanding of micro-processor-based PCS such as DCS and PLC
