Working with a sharp and dynamic group of employees this People Advisor role is supporting across the company and partnering closely with high performing operational managersDescription
People Advisor role duties and responsibilities;
- Answers 1st line employee relations queries aligned to our policies and aligning to our values
- Produce easy simple guides/templates that managers love
- Builds rapport with key stakeholders around the business to help provide a quality experience
- Coaches managers and employees on HR policy, practice and employment legislation in a way that is easy to understand and jargon free
- Manages Employee Relations cases in full including note taking and creating case pack (with guidance from the HR Business Partner)
- Helps to champion the Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing Agendas
- Navigates our engagement dashboard to help find the golden nuggets those key changes that we can make to drive engagement even higher
- Keeps track of the competitors and brings to HRBPs attention people intelligence
- Contributes to HR thought leadership and brings ideas and suggestions to the table
- Helps the HRBP to help our Leaders to stay focused by ensuring People Plans are up to date
- Pulls together regular data on key measures for business areas and produces the business area People Pack with pride
Profile
People Advisor Profile;
- Studying towards CIPD or looking to commence
- Experience in a HR role prior
- Base knowledge of UK employment law
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written is essential
- Proven ability to plan and implement projects/initiatives
- Analytical skills: quickly evaluates data / situations and reaches conclusions
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills
- Isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table to make change happen
- Ability to work with appropriate attention to detail and high standards, whilst still working at pace
- Degree or equivalent experience
