Position:
Mobile Plant Fitter


Location:
Manchester


Salary:
Up to £18.30 per hour (door to door)


Hours: 40 hours per week


Overtime:
Paid at 1.5x rate


About the Role:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conducting routine maintenance checks and servicing on a range of construction plant machinery.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Performing repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime.
  • Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and customers to provide efficient and effective solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a plant fitter or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a mobile role.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
