  • This is a 1 year fixed term, full time, maternity cover post based primarily at the Headington Campus.

You will:

- provide advice and guidance to students on relevant systems such as our Virtual Learning Environment system.
- advise and support students with highly sensitive issues and manage confidential information in accordance with data protection legislation.
- support collaborative working across the University to support students' needs.
- advise students on the University regulations and programme rules.
- work collaboratively with Student Support Coordinators across the university.
- participate in relevant Faculty committees and working groups as appropriate including Faculty and Subject Committee meetings.
- work proactively with the

Faculty Associate Dean:
Education and Student Experience, to ensure that the Student Support Framework is working effectively.
- maintain accurate records of student interactions. Prepare _ad hoc_ reports for evaluating the operation of the Student Support Coordinator activities in order to identify trends and student demands.


You should have:


  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification or substantial relevant work experience in a post with similar, general support/advice duties.
  • Demonstrable relevant experience and appropriate skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrable IT skills with the ability to use software packages appropriate to an office environment.
