Chambers London are pleased to be working with an exciting business within the sports sector (Private Equity Backed). My client has been making significant strides in achieving strategic growth and commercial success. As an integral member of the board and the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a role in supporting the organisation's financial strategy and actively contributing to its achievements.

You will be a forward thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be responsible for the financial strategy and with an exit-mindset.

Other duties will include;

• Overall responsibility for the areas of compliance
• Management of all tax affairs of the Group and all matters relating to taxation
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
• Ensure maintenance of all security certifications and audits to satisfy our clients requirements

About You

• The successful candidate is likely to have a big 4 ACA accounting background with some time in industry either as a number 1 or number 2 in the finance team.
• Experience previously held in a Private Equity, high growth business would also be beneficial.
• The right person for the job could have an M&A background and should be polished, hardworking, bright and enthusiastic.
• Experience at a private equity or venture capital backed business would also stand the candidate in good stead.
