    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, motivated and progressive service manager to work as part of a team to provide clinical leadership and operational management to the Community Respiratory Team. This post would ideally suit a clinician, although a non-clinician would be considered based on qualifications and experience.

    The post holder will provide leadership and operational management of this award winning service with a national profile, providing a range of services in a community setting in the South-West and North Hampshire geographies, working closely with health professionals throughout primary, secondary and community care systems.

    Main duties of the job

    This is a leadership role and the successful candidate will promote a culture of innovation, involvement and quality improvement an in in collaboration with the senior managers ensure effective performance, high quality governance, workforce planning, and on-going business development.

    The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with corporate support services including business support, finance, contracting, HR and comms and have good interpersonal skills to communicate and work with numerous stakeholders internally and externally.

    The candidate would need to be flexible and be able to support the respiratory services across Hampshire and a being a car driver is essential.
