  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent MRCPCH/MRCP
  • Relevant clinical experience in Haemogobinopathy
  • Good Team Working skills

    • Desirable

  • Eligible for specialist registration in Haematology or Paediatrics. Should be on the specialist register or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT or equivalent at interview.
  • MD, PhD, or other higher degree
  • Relevant clinical experience in Laboratory Haematology
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent FRCPath
  • Post graduate qualification or equivalent

    • Teaching and Audit

  • Teaching medical students
  • Teaching junior medical staff

    • Desirable

  • Experience of Audit

    • Academic Achievements and Research
    Desirable

  • Publications in peer reviewed journals or a demonstrable commitment to developing research within this field in the Trust

  • Full registration with the GMC
