Driving Talent are recruiting for a permanent customer service advisor to join our valued and established client in Shepshed.

Our client is a huge company with over 150 years of history, they are one of the leading manufacturers in their trade.

Working hours would be from 08:00am-17:00pm or 08:30am-17:30pm with an hour break, 40 hours a week

You'd also be required to do 1 in 4 Saturdays and 1 in 5 bank holidays 08:00am-12:00pm, both on a rotational basis

Annual salary is £22,000p/a


Brief Description:


  • You'd be working alongside key departments and liaise with both internal and external customers, with the end goal to provide a positive and professional customer service experience

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing the customer with a high level of customer service, leaving them feeling valued with a satisfactory resolution
  • Going the extra mile to make the customer feel engaged and ending on a positive note
  • Building rapport with repeat customers as well as making new customers feel welcome
  • Timely processing of orders in line with KPI's, maintaining consistency and accuracy throughout
  • Keep track of customer records across multipe Microsoft platforms
  • Liaise with other departments and provide admin support when necessary
  • Data entry
  • Deal with complaints in a timely and effective manner, and escalating complex issues to management when needed
  • Taking ownership of calls and using your initiative to resolve the issue
  • You'd also potentially go on site visits, so you'd need to ensure you promote a positive image of the business and have a professional approach at all times
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good command of Microsoft packages
  • Experience of Sales administration and/or customer service, preferably in a fast paced environment
  • As you'd be dealing with customers directly, you'd need to be a trustworthy person and respect customer confidentiality
  • Friendly manner with positive thinking and proactive character
