Role Purpose:


To provide bespoke, detailed customer designs and technical ownership to the businesses high profile accounts through the utilisation of specialist technical expertise.

To add value, in terms of technical skills, to the various accounts through the issuing of detailed network solutions as well as technical leadership and implementation support.


What will you be doing?:


  • Creating simple Cisco and Meraki Low-Level Designs for Enterprise Customers; using a High-Level Design to interpret the customer's bespoke requirements and network topology.
  • Endtoend planning and implementation of simple LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and IoT solutions based on customer requirements. This could include migration planning and testing.
  • Pre-Staging within a LAB environment, Racking and Stacking and Testing the equipment prior to shipping to the customer.
  • Site visits and installations where necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring the customer signs off the final solution and build. Accountable for handing the customer accepted solution into in life services (e.g., onboarding team, service desk and support teams).
  • Producing Vodafone Work Packages which break down the detailed deliverables and associated resource requirements within the agreed SLAs.
  • To provide pre and post sales consultancy to drive the generation of new business and provide 4th line support to the customer services organisation.

Who are we looking for?:


  • Industry recognised vendor qualification to Associate level. Cisco CCNA minimum or related experience.
  • Sound knowledge of IP Networking, LAN, WLAN, VoIP, SDN, SD-WAN.
  • In depth knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity planning.
  • Enterprise Wireless using Cisco Access Points, WLCs, ISE, Prime / DNA Center.
  • Experience of varied Wi-Fi deployments; Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi, Wireless Mesh Networking, Wi-Fi 6, differing antennas, ADSL/VDSL/Fibre with Wi-Fi CPE.
