    Description

    Applications are invited from suitably persons for the 0.80 position (4days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ) of Physical Education Teacher to commence on Monday July There is the possibility for this role to be 1 FTE negotiated.

    The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, life-long learning, gospel values and teachings. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

    Special Requirements

    • hold current VIT registration
    • accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or display a willingness to undertake this qualification
    • proof of personal identity and any professional or other qualifications

    The successful applicant will;

    • be familiar with and comply with the school's Child-safe Policy and Code of Conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety
    • possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience in the area of Physical Education and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to learning and teaching
    • demonstrate an ability to collaborate and actively contribute in a team-focused environment with a willingness to be open and responsive to new learning
    • demonstrate the ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum in the area of Physical Education to students with diverse educational, social, and emotional needs and abilities
    • respect the ethos of the school and its environment
    • demonstrate a passion for Physical Education with a focus on improvement of self and others.
