    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)My client is a leading investment management firm dedicated to delivering superior investment results for their clients.

    They specialize in managing portfolios across various asset classes, providing tailored investment solutions to meet clients' financial goals.

    They are currently growing through acquisition and organically and are looking for an experience CFO to help them achieve the ambitious goals.


    Position Overview:

    As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the organization.

    Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Strategy and Planning:
    Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.

    Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, working closely with senior management and department heads to set financial goals and objectives.


    Financial Reporting and Analysis:


    Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.

    Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to support decision-making processes.


    Risk Management and Compliance:
    Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and operational risks, through appropriate risk management strategies.


    Treasury and Cash Management:
    Manage the company's cash flow effectively, optimizing liquidity and maximizing returns on surplus funds.
    Oversee banking relationships, debt financing, and investment activities to support the company's financial objectives.


    Investor Relations:
    Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
    Communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and key developments to investors in a clear and transparent manner.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
    Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance department.


    Qualifications & Experience needed:
    Qualified AccountantProven experience in a senior financial leadership role within the investment management industry.
    Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
    Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of building and developing successful teams.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
