Description

A leading housing association in Kent requires an Estate Maintenance Officer for a four month temporary assignment. UK driving license required as van provided, as well as tools, fuel card and trade card.

Working as part of a neighbourhood response team, you will be allocated housing estates to which you will carry out minor repairs, re-decorations, adaptations and general maintenance duties to communal areas.

Duties will include;

Assisting in carrying our estate inspections, reporting abandoned vehicles and fly tipping.
Keeping estates clean and tide by monitoring contract performance.
Carrying out minor repairs, painting. fence repairs, lock replacements.
Work with neighbourhood managements team to ensure that tenants enjoy a safe and clean environment.
Complete equipment and adaptation works (hand rails, grab rails, half steps)

You must have the ability to carry out a wide range of smalls repairs and an understanding of the role of a housing association.
