Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre within the Institute of Genetics and Cancer

Full Time - 35 hours

Fixed-Term until 31st December 2024

The Opportunity:


The successful applicant will work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment using state-of-the-art cell biology and automated high content imaging technologies to advance phenotypic screening and the discovery and delivery of novel drug combination therapies for brain cancer.

This is a lab based role located within the Edinburgh Cancer Research department at the University of Edinburgh which is part of the Cancer Research UK Scotland Centre.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • In vitro cell culture
  • Automated microscopic imaging and image analysis
  • Protein and mRNA sample preparation and analysis
  • Prior experience in cancer research
  • Strong communication skills
