- Raising sales orders and invoices using Sage.
- Managing invoice financing/factoring processes, including uploading invoices, downloading reports, and reconciling transactions.
- Bank management tasks such as setting up payments, reconciliations, and posting receipts/payments.
- Handling credit card, PayPal, and petty cash expenditures and reconciliations.
- Entering purchase invoices, managing purchase ledger balances, and arranging timely payments to suppliers.
- Calculating monthly payroll hours from employee timesheets and providing details to the payroll administrator.
- Providing monthly CIS reports for deductions on sales and subcontractors.
- Credit control and debt chasing for both domestic and commercial accounts.
- Quarterly VAT return preparation.
- Providing age debtors and credit reports to the Managing Director.
- Assisting with answering phones, sorting post, and general administrative duties.
- Proficiency in Sage, particularly Sage 50 Accounts Professional.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Previous Bookkeeping experience or similar would be ideal
- Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills
