Role:
Principal Designer / CDM Advisor


Location:
West London

Proper Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf an architectural practice based in West London who are looking for a Principal Designer / CDM Advisor to join their Building Consultancy team working on a number of schemes such as residential and new build projects

This is a hybrid working opportunity


Responsibilities:
Overseeing multiple projects
Design risk management
Site inspections
Preparation and production of Pre-Construction Information
Building/maintaining relationships with Clients/Project Managers and Principal Contractors
Principal Designer duties, as defined by the Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015 (CDM).
Leading safety in design workshops for design and client teams


Requirements:
~ Competent technically
~ Excellent communicator
~ Familiarity with the construction process and RIBA stages
~ Proficient with CDM 2015
~2 years minimum experience within the Construction / H&S Industry
~ NEBOSH Construction Certificate or H&S Diploma Qualification
~ Relevant memberships to IOSH (tech), APS (IMaP), CIOB (Tech) at technical / Incorporated member or above
~ Driving licence

Desirable
Design related degree, Safety diploma, FRA qualifications.
Working towards Chartered/ Certified memberships to CIOB, APS, IOSH
