Management Accountant FTC (Now - October 2024)Hybrid Renfrewshire Iconic Resourcing are delighted to bring a Management Accountant temporary opportunity as we are working closely with our International clients in Renfrewshire.

This role will report into the Finance Manager and you will support 3 groups in the business and deliver accurate and timely results in the accounting and reporting team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly close activitiesPrepare and review accounting entriesEvaluate entries for completeness and accuracyReview general ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepanciesPerform and review balance sheet account reconciliations, including general ledger accounts and sub ledger accounts Research and resolve any reconciling items on a monthly basisCoordinate accounting entries with other departments and accounting system modulesAssist in maintenance of documentation of policies, procedures and controls Ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting policies, procedures and controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)

Key point of contact for external and internal auditors as well as various groups companywidePerform variance analysis including current-to-prior month/quarter/year fluctuationsPreparation and submission of government and other agency returns, including but not limited to Tax returns and government statistics returnsComplete special projects as requestedMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:

High level of proactivity to drive continuous improvementDeep technical accounting knowledgeWorking knowledge of US GAAP (Desired but not essential)Excellent communication skills to interact at various levels inside and outside the organisationProficient in MS ExcelIf you think you have the experience that we are looking for we would love to hear from you.
