    Antenna Design Engineer

    High Wycombe

    Copello are pleased to be partnered with a major defence organisation based nearby to High Wycombe recruiting for an Antenna Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

    The Antenna Design Engineer will be joining an established team, delivering high profile projects working on innovative solutions and products for demanding aerospace environments.

    Covering the full development lifecycle the Antenna Design Engineer will be working on complex challenges from requirements capture, concept development, simulation, prototyping, optimisation and verification.

    Day to Day responsibilities include;

    • Designing, developing and testing antenna and RF products
    • Manage and run electromagnetic simulations and analysis to maximise antenna performance
    • Lead requirements analysis and generate documentation to support product development and verification
    • Regularly review and update knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to maximise innovation into products designs
    • Work closely with cross functional project and product teams to support qualification and review of designs
    • Support development of Automated Test Equipment and software design

    To be considered the Antenna Design Engineer will have demonstrable experience in leading the design and development of Antennas (and active/ passive RF and Microwave circuit design experience) in a similar safety critical environment. It is essential for the successful applicant to have working knowledge of electromagnetic solvers (ideally, CST MWS, FEKO, HFSS) and to be familiar with RF test measurement equipment. Some experience/ knowledge of antenna test ranges/ anechoic chambers would also be advantageous.

    It is an essential requirement for the successful Antenna Design Engineer to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

    This role is based close by to High Wycombe and will require at least 4 days per week on site to be able to successfully deliver in this role.
