Description
The main role is to support all Pre registration learners and the staff that supervise and assess in practice. We monitor quality and provide support for learners and staff when required. We liaise with HEI's and Academic Assessors.

We aim to increase capacity for learners and increase and maintain capacity through training for all Registered staff and through Long arm assessment where needed.

Assess the quality of learning environments against quality assurance standards, suggesting improvement measures to enhance the student learning experience.

Facilitate the development, and ensuring a sufficient provision of clinical practice supervisors and assessors across relevant service areas; providing supervision and support structures, building education in practice capability, consistency and efficiency.

Design, structure, deliver and co-ordinate interprofessional learning activity across a service area(s).
Participate in single Quality Assurance multiprofessional site visits across
organizations.
Develop and maintain links with Education Providers to support clinical practice supervisors and assessors. For example, contributing to curriculum development, validation and review, and the Annual Quality Review of the Education Contracts.
Support the placement of students, enabling effective allocation across the
relevant service area and the opening up of new placements.

Support the development of mentors/ educators ensuring that students are effectively supported during their placement and mentors are competent in their role.

Provide support to staffto enable them to provide feedback on performance for failing students and staff
Develop clinical learning opportunities and programmes for students,
mentors/educators and staff.

The post holder will be required to comply with the organisations standing
order and standing financial instructions and at all times, deal honestly with
the organisation with colleagues and all those who have dealing with the
organisation including patients, relative and suppliers.
The post holder must ensure that their behaviour and interests inside and
outside work do not conflict with their Trust position, duties and/or
responsibilities.
The post holder must comply with and support the development of the
performance standards within the service/department to ensure the service is
responsive to and meets the needs of its customers.
The post holder will be required to develop and maintain good working
relationships with all patients, service users, staff, contractors and where
appropriate, members of the public.

Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality multiprofessional learning environments within PCFT and will be required to work locally
within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be provided. The
post holder will be required to support the breadth of the student experience, which
may require cross boundary working, and contribute to the delivery of the new
Quality Assurance Concordat.
