    What youll bedoing

    Were looking for an EmployeeRelations (ER) Specialist to join our expanding ER team. You willdeliver a high quality and professional service to our clients andsupport the People Partnering team to provide expert advice andguidance in relation to employee relations and change activities.This includes the application of employment law in a range ofworkplace scenarios.

    You will ensure ER cases arehandled efficiently and in a commercial and compliant way to ensureour clients feel wellsupported with challenging ER issues. Inaddition to this you will also be responsible for thefollowing:

    • Competently and efficientlyinvestigating and/or advising on a range of complex ER cases (e.g.grievance disciplinary whistleblowing bullying and harassment)ensuring our clients achieve the best possibleoutcome.
    • Leading and advising on businesschange processes including redundancy restructuring and TUPE tomanage risk for our clients and ensure they take commercial butcompliant routes when navigating the relevantprocesses.
    • Drafting policies procedures andcontracts of employment to provide transparency and clarity in theemployment relationship.
    • Attending and/orchairing meetings to support ourclients.
    • Drafting ER documentation of mixedcomplexity in response to various ER activities including inviteletters scripts outcome letters policies and procedures employeehandbooks contracts of employment and detailedreports.
    • Seeking external advice and supportwhen necessary to ensure our work is thorough andaccurate.
    • Sharing knowledge and developinginternal resources to ensure our People Partnering team has thetools to provide an exceptional service to ourclients.
    • Keeping up to date with employment lawlegislation and tribunal casestudies.

    Aboutyou

    You will have previousexperience supporting and advising managers on complex ER cases upto and including employment tribunals drafting policies andprocedures and managing business change processes such as TUPEredundancies and restructuring. You will be able to implement HRprinciples and UK employment law and draw on your experience todeliver commercially focused results for our clients. In additionto this you will have the following:

    • Alevel 7 CIPD qualification employment law qualification orequivalent.
    • Experience in undertaking complexER investigations.
    • Significant experience insupporting and advising managers in a range of workplace scenariosincluding discipline grievance performance absence redundancy TUPEand restructuring.
    • The ability to identify therisks associated with taking different courses of action whileknowing when to seek appropriateadvice.
    • Excellent written and spoken Englishwith experience in drafting detailed reports and outcome letterswhich are well structured and effectively pull together a broad setof data to convey robust arguments.
    • Strongconsulting communication and influencing skills includingconfidence in managing keystakeholders.
    • Ability to review your colleagueswork and provide feedback anddirection.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft OutlookExcel and Word.
    • A UK driving licence andwillingness to travel regularly to visitclients.
