- Report to the setting out engineer / Project Manager on all aspects related to setting out and record keeping.
- Assisting the setting out, levelling and surveying of the site. Mapping and surveying and responsibility for the digital computation, recording and reporting of data / statistics.
- Supervision of materials and ensuring relevant documentation is compliant.
- Assisting the PM or Contracts Manager in project management duties.
- Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with sub-contractors.
- Assisting with the resolution of technical / engineering problems.
- Examine the design information with the PM/ setting out engineer, to ensure plans and drawings are accurate and achievable.
- Assist in the production of as built records.
- Assist the setting out engineer with producing ITP's and ensure they are signed off by relevant parties.
- Along with the setting out engineer ensure that the QA File is produced and maintained.
- Be aged 18 and over.
- Be living and eligible to work in the UK.
- Have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Level 4/C which must include Maths & English.

In this apprenticeship you will follow a Civils/Project Management pathway, learning the duties of a civil engineer / project manager for the installation District Heating networks.
The level 6 apprenticeship programme has a duration of 60-month, followed by the period of the End Point Assessment. , The standard aligns with the following professional recognition: Joint Board of Moderator professional engineering institutions for Incorporated Engineer (IEng). During your apprenticeship, you will be working from various sites situated in the South East of England and London, 4-days a week, Monday-Friday, 8 hours each day and attending university 1 day per week.
