The Role

Reporting to the IT Program Director, the purpose of the role is to lead business engagement from within the global technology function.

You will be working with key leaders and teams within the business to understand the challenges they face and how technology can be applied to address these by developing strong relationships and working with the internal IT teams for solutions and recommendations.

Providing clear communication and helping manage change across both technology and business functions.

What you'll be doing:

Work with stakeholders to understand their current business processes and needs/challenges.
Ensure any business change activities are sponsored by the business and have the relevant business engagement to ensure successful delivery.
Establish regular reporting and review cycle with the business to ensure clear communication and understanding between IT teams and business counterparts.
Act as a change management catalyst and a key interface and bridge between the various Lines of Business and the IT Teams.
Working with the business to develop business cases/justification for the implementation/enhancement and expansion of technology usage.
Oversee the launch of solutions and services within divisions and agencies.
Effective representation of the service needs and customer requirements within all relevant technology strategy, capability, and policy/governance decisions.
Act as the key liaison for divisions and agencies for IT requests, queries, and communication.
Promotes and develops a culture of collaboration across both the IT Leadership team and the IT functional pillars to ensure delivery of a bestinclass service to our colleagues and customers.
Identify and evaluate new technology solution opportunities that address unmet business needs.

What do you bring to the role?

Strong communication skills and experience delivering change at scale.
Worked in a globally diverse and dispersed organisation.
Demonstrable experience in Business Systems & Information Technology, particularly leading teams in complex technology environments.
Program management with strong business case development and overall project delivery experience.
Ability to develop open and honest relationships in person and remotely.
Service analysis and continuous improvement.
ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2 or PPM desirable.
