This upmarket and award-winning firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors is looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to join their professional lettings team in Bath.


This company has a hugely successful network of offices nationwide and balances its distinguished history with modern services and a cutting-edge approach.


The focus for this role is the management of let property throughout the whole rental process, from the tenancy start up stage to the tenancy termination stage in a manner that satisfies agreed departmental targets.

Our client is looking for someone whois comfortable in a front office environment, which involves greeting people who come into the office, registering applicants, answering telephones.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Property Visits and inspections
  • Instructing maintenance contractors and administering the invoices
  • Liaising with Landlords
  • Negotiating and arranging deposit release
  • Managing process of return of deposits
  • Chasing any rent arrears
  • Managing compliance documents of contractors
  • Administration of tenancy renewals
  • Managing the block management element of the student building (testing fire bells, testing lift lines, inspections etc.)
  • Registering applicants
  • Booking viewings
  • In addition to Property Management tasks, there will be administration of tenancy renewals to complete.

Skills & knowledge:

  • At least 2 years' experience within residential property management
  • ARLA qualifications would be an advantage
  • Some block management experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Experience working in a fastpaced administrative environment
  • Professional manner

The salary for this role will be in the region of £28,000 to £32,000 dependent on the level of experience and qualifications.

A car allowance will be provided.
