    Full Job Description

    GKR International has been retained by our client, in their search for an experienced Architect to work 'in-house' for a successful Development firm.

    Our client is a privately owned firm, with a successful track record in Residential and Mixed-Use projects across North, East London and West Essex.

    They are looking to add to their in-house team, with an individual that has extensive experience across Residential projects, ideally with prior knowledge and expertise within East London and Essex.

    Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

    Must Drive

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with a property manager, senior architect, and technologist to produce and achieve successful outcomes to projects.
    • Setting budgets/targets for work to be undertaken and liaising with site managers with regards to achieving targets and any variances occurring.
    • Take ownership of projects from concept design to completion.

    Ideal skills and experience required:

    • Must have experience working on private residential projects, ideally working client-side or for a developer.
    • Ideally 3 + years experience post qualification as an Architect/ Architectural Technologist or Project Architect.
    • Full clean UK Drivers License.
    • Strong understanding of planning submissions and regulations.
    • Experience with MEP drawings
    • Experience with 3D rendering
    • Experience on-site and managing projects from concept design to completion.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit and Adobe Acrobat software.
    • A self-starter with excellent relationship-building skills and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
