Commissioning Engineer - Machine/Equipment Manufacturing Company – Permanent - Kings Lynn based – Up To £45K + Benefits Package – (30% - 70% travel abroad – Fully expensed)

My client is a globally recognized machine design and manufacturing company, with client based all over East Asia and in South America.

Initially seeking to replace levers but are now looking to expand their commissioning department with both Mechanical orientated and Electrically orientated commission engineers.

My client will cover all travel expenses, including flights, accommodation, and food.

Willing to consider a background of maintenance, projects, assembly and testing however commissioning experience is essential.


The will involves the following:
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of the equipment during the manufacturing phase.
• Precommissioning the equipment once it is completed and rectification of any faults found.
• Preparation and customer handover of O&M manuals with customer training at site.
• Supervision of the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Supervision of moving, accurately positioning and fixing of equipment.
• Complete electrical and mechanical interconnections and services (Air, water, electric, drainage and slip) connections to supplied equipment and moulds.
• Supervision of contractors or customer staff in all other installation tasks.
• Commissioning of supplied equipment and moulds, and the resolution of all issues or faults found.
• Equipment, mould, and cycle optimisation to achieve the agreed outputs and quality standards.
• Completion of demonstration test runs to prove to the customer that the equipment and moulds are performing to the required standards, availability, and yields.
• Instruct customers in the operation, safety and maintenance of the supplied equipment and moulds.
• Administrative/office duties including customer contact via email and phone, arranging travel requirement, completion of expenses and report writing.
• Provide remote customer assistance via telephone, email, and remote connection.
• Provide rapid response onsite technical assistance.
